Moscow Announces 2-Year Tax Holiday for Business

According to him, small and mid-size enterprises employ 3.4 mln. In 2014, a total of 28 thousand new businesses were registered, 4.5 times more than elsewhere in Russia. Reshetnikov said that the idea of a program to aid city hotels was floated as well.
In late December 2014, Putin signed an act on tax holidays for individual entrepreneurs. The law grants local authorities the right to set 0% tax for taxpayers who have registered as individual entrepreneurs for the first time, or have switched to simplified or patent tax scheme.
