Moscow Exchange and Korea Exchange Sign Partnership

The agreement outlines partnership in IT, financial market infrastructure, joint products and events. Slated to become the debut project is joint derivative trading.
ead of Moscow Exchange Alexander Afanasiev told Interfax that Korea Exchange advantages are its position in a different time zone, as well as advanced technology. Besides, the exchanges are interested in ‘exchanging derivative products’. “This exchange is active, aggressive, growing. They collaborate with Chicago, Frankfurt, and we are a logical extension of that list”, said Afanasiev. He did not disclose details on the exact derivatives and timeframes.
Korea Exchange is one of the global derivative trading leaders and ranks among the Top 20 most capitalized exchanges.
